Samer has been directing the orchestra at Mona Shores High school since 2011. A native of Damascus, Syria, Samer holds a Master of Music degree from Wright State University where he studied the Violin under the direction of Dr. In-Hong Cha; a Bachelor of Music from Damascus Higher Institute of Music where he studied under the direction of Prof. Evgeny Loginov; and a teaching Certificate from University of Michigan–Flint. Before coming to Mona Shores Samer taught at the Waterford School District.
