Jessica Fogle, piano accompanist, is originally from Wisconsin, she has been a singer/songwriter, composer, and pianist since preschool (roughly). She lived and worked in Chicago for 10 years as a music director and piano teacher, while building a career as an indie lo-fi singer/songwriter. Her music can be heard in the film “Were the World Mine” (winner of Best Music at the Nashville Film Fest 2008) and also on her three independent albums – on iTunes or link-able at www.jessicafogle.com. She holds an MFA from Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in Musical Theatre Writing, and a BA in music (piano performance) and theatre (dramatic literature) from Lawrence University/Conservatory of Music. She is enjoying her time at Shores, in multiple ways – as the pianist for this incredible choir program, as an instigator of new activities like Musical Improv (Extra Swiss!), and as a mentor for young songwriters and pianists.
